Summary: In 2021, Novartis announced the launch of More Than Just Words. This multiyear campaign was dedicated to healthcare equality in breast cancer care, specifically addressing racial disparities in cancer treatment and care.
Challenge: Tasked with branding, our goal was to create something unique and inspiring to promote awareness while speaking directly to the black community. The campaign would span social, video, and print.
Solution: What we created was a brand that is impactful and versatile across all mediums. Overlapping shapes are used to give dimension and frame information. The typography is bold, using a serif typeface for headlines that is strong and elegant, paired with a clean san serif for body copy. The color palette is vibrant and speaks to the audience with its urgency.
Results: The campaign was active beginning 2021on, with singer Jazmine Sullivan becoming the spokesperson. A partnership with Good Morning America also aired using the creative on national television.
